Document Portal

The Document Portal is where documents are stored and shared in JMS.

Think of it like a secure filing cabinet.
Only people with access can open it.

🎥 This guide matches the Document Portal Superdemo video.

Yes.

If you click Document Portal and you are not logged in, JMS will ask you to log in first.

This keeps documents private and secure.

Once you log in, you will be taken to the Document Portal automatically.

🎥 In the demo, this shows clicking Document Portal → logging in → entering the portal.

From the Document Portal, you can:

  • View documents
  • Download files
  • Access shared information
  • See documents linked to your work

What you see depends on your access level.

  1. Click Document Portal in the left menu
  2. Log in (if asked)
  3. Select a document from the list

The document will open so you can view it.

You don’t need to edit anything unless you have permission.

Some documents can be downloaded.

Use this when you need:

  • A copy on your computer
  • To share outside JMS (if allowed)

If a document cannot be downloaded, it means access is restricted.

Not all documents are visible to everyone.

Access depends on:

  • Your role
  • Your relationship (client, partner, internal user)
  • Document permissions

This helps keep information safe.

Use the Document Portal when you need to:

  • Find official documents
  • Review shared files
  • Access important records

If you’re not sure where a document is, this is the first place to check.

This guide can be:

  • Read step by step, or
  • Watched as a short Document Portal Superdemo

Both explain the same flow: Click → Log in → View documents.

You now understand how the Document Portal works in JMS.
