Franchise Fees

The Franchise Fees section provides a dedicated view for managing costs and pricing from the franchisee perspective, ensuring accurate billing and clear financial visibility.

Charges are organized into categories such as:

  • Common Add-Ons
  • Other Add-Ons
  • Payroll Charges
  • Time Clock

Each category groups related services, making it easier to manage and review applicable costs.

Each charge includes key pricing components:

  • Hard Cost – The base cost of the service
  • Suggested Price – Recommended pricing guidance
  • Client Fee – Final amount charged to the client
  • Profit – Margin calculated from cost and client fee
  • Billing Unit – Defines how the fee is applied (e.g., flat fee)
  • Effective Date – When the fee becomes active

This structure ensures transparency and consistency in pricing.

The section allows for:

  • Adding new charges
  • Updating pricing and fee structures
  • Organizing charges into categories
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date cost data

Service inclusions can also be defined to outline what is covered within each charge.

The My Costs view provides a monthly financial summary, including:

  • Total Monthly Cost – Overall non-billable expenses
  • Fixed Monthly Cost – Recurring fixed charges
  • Variable Monthly Cost – Costs based on usage or percentages
  • Revenue – Calculated from active services

Inputs such as users, hours, and revenue values are used to calculate these totals.

A detailed breakdown shows how costs are calculated, including:

  • Billing setup components (e.g., royalty and marketing fees)
  • Fixed costs per service
  • Variable costs based on revenue or usage

This provides full visibility into how totals are derived.

The reporting section provides access to invoice data, including:

  • Invoice periods and versions
  • Status of generated invoices
  • Total billed amounts

This supports financial tracking and review across different periods.

The Franchise Fees section ensures that franchisees have clear control over their costs, pricing, and financial performance.
