Getting started
Welcome to JMS
Section titled “Welcome to JMS”This guide helps you understand JMS in a very simple way.
You can read it, or you can watch short demo videos later both will show you the same thing.
Think of JMS like a control centre for your business.
It helps you see messages, manage clients, track sales, and stay organised.
1. When you log in (Your first screen)
Section titled “1. When you log in (Your first screen)”What happens when you log in?
Section titled “What happens when you log in?”After signing in, you land on the Home screen.
This is your starting point every time you use JMS.
Think of it like your desk important things show up here first.
2. Top bar (Always visible)
Section titled “2. Top bar (Always visible)”The top bar is always visible at the top of the screen.
What you see here
Section titled “What you see here”- Online status → shows that you are active
- Your name & profile icon → your account
- Date and time → helps you track when things happen
This helps you always know who you are logged in as and when things were updated.
3. Left menu (How you move around)
Section titled “3. Left menu (How you move around)”What is the left menu?
Section titled “What is the left menu?”The left menu helps you move around JMS.
Think of it like rooms in a building.
Each menu item is a room with a different job.
Common menu items
Section titled “Common menu items”- Home → come back to the main screen
- Communications → messages and notices
- Clients → people and businesses you work with
- Sales → deals and opportunities
- Finances → money-related information
You don’t need to open everything.
Just go to the room you need.
4. Notices area (Important messages)
Section titled “4. Notices area (Important messages)”What is this for?
Section titled “What is this for?”This area shows important messages, usually from management or the CEO.
Think of it like a notice board.
What you can do here
Section titled “What you can do here”- Read new notices
- Search for older notices
- See important notices (icon)
- Create a new notice (if you have permission)
When you click a notice, the details open on the right.
5. Main workspace (The big area on the right)
Section titled “5. Main workspace (The big area on the right)”Why is this sometimes empty?
Section titled “Why is this sometimes empty?”This area shows details only after you select something.
For example:
- Click a notice → notice details appear
- Click a client → client details appear
This keeps the screen clean and easy to understand.
6. What you should do first
Section titled “6. What you should do first”You do not need to learn everything at once.
Start with these simple steps:
- Read any new notices
- Click through the left menu to see what’s available
- Go to Clients when you are ready to work with people or businesses
