Marketing

The Marketing section is where you plan and manage your marketing posts in one place.

If you think of JMS like a workplace notebook:

  • Marketing is the page where you write down what you want to publish,
  • when you want to publish it,
  • and what you included (like an image or video).

At the top of the page you will see:

These dropdowns help you quickly find what you need:

  • Platform: shows where the post will go (or which channel/platform it belongs to).
    Selecting All shows everything.

  • Status: shows the current state of a post (for example: planned, published, or other system statuses).
    Selecting All shows every status.

Use these filters when your list grows and you need to narrow things down.

The table is where all posts appear once you create them.

You will typically see columns like:

  • Platform: where the post belongs
  • Status: what stage the post is in
  • Title: the name of the post
  • Schedule: when the post is planned to go out
  • Media: whether the post has attachments (images/videos/files)
  • Actions: what you can do next (for example edit, view, delete)

If you see a message like:

“No social posts yet. Use ‘New post’ to add your first one.”

That simply means there are no posts created yet.

On the top-right, click:

New post

Use this when you want to add your first post, or plan another campaign message.

A simple workflow is:

  1. Click New post
  2. Add a title
  3. Choose a platform
  4. Add content (and media if needed)
  5. Set the schedule (if you are planning ahead)
  6. Save/publish (depending on your setup)

From here, you can:

  • Create new marketing posts
  • Filter posts by platform or status
  • See what is scheduled and what has already happened
  • Keep marketing activity organized so Sales and follow-ups are easier later

Marketing is usually the “first message” people see.
Sales is where you follow up once someone responds or shows interest.

A simple way to think about it:

  • Marketing helps you start conversations
  • Sales helps you close conversations

You now understand what Marketing is for and how the screen works.
